Short Film Day [Southern Hemisphere] – June 21, 2023

INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM DAY

Short Film Day is repeated on June 21!

Since 2010, the shortest day of the year, December 21 for the Northern Hemisphere and June 21 for the Southern Hemisphere, has been enshrined as International Short Film Day.

On the occasion of the second date, the National Short Film Center is pleased to propose to Italian Embassies, Consulates and Cultural Institutes operating in the Southern Hemisphere the program prepared for the anniversary in the current year.

Celebrated today in more than fifty countries, Short Film Day represents an ideal showcase for short works that, during the year, rarely leave the festival circuit. In particular, the program of short films produced by the CNC is an overview that aims to give visibility to the most recent Italian production.

The program is available to the circuit of Italian diplomatic representations from June 17 to 26, 2023. Embassies, consulates and Italian Cultural Institutes can join the project for free and freely include it in their programming. This is a formula that allows a wide diffusion of Italian short films in the world and that, over the years, has always had extremely positive feedback.
