Short Film Day Northern Hemisphere, December 21, 2024

INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM DAY

Short Film Day returns on 21 December!

Since 2010, the shortest day of the year (21 December for the Northern Hemisphere and 21 June for the Southern Hemisphere) is dedicated to the International Short Film Day.

On this occasion, the Italian Short Film Center offers to Embassies, Consulates, and Italian Cultural Institutes the programme designed for this year’s celebration.

Now celebrated in more than fifty countries, Short Film Day is as an ideal showcase for short films that are often limited to the festival circuit throughout the year.

In particular, the short film programme, curated by Italian Short Film Center, offers an overview aimed at giving visibility to the latest Italian productions.

The programme will be available to Italian diplomatic missions from 16 to 26 December 2024. Embassies, Consulates, and Italian Cultural Institutes can participate in the project free of charge and include it in their programmes. This format allows for a wide distribution of Italian short films throughout the world, a formula that has always received extremely positive feedback over the years.
