The Italian Selection Committee for the Call for Projects Euro Connection 2025

EURO CONNECTION 2025

Selection Committee for Italy

Euro Connection is the most important European event for the co-production of short films.

The 17th edition of Euro Connection will take place on Tuesday, February 4th, and Wednesday, February 5th, 2025 during the Short Film Market in Clermont-Ferrand, with the support of the Creative Europe MEDIA and PROCIREP program: two days of pitching, one-to-one meetings and networking in order to promote partnership between European and International production companies about short-films projects.

Each year, 12 European projects are selected from the Call for Projects, and around 150 industry professionals participate in Euro Connection, which has so far enabled the realisation of 136 films, including 74 international co-productions.

For fourteen years now, the Italian Short Film Center has been the Italian correspondent of Euro Connection, in charge of the selection of the Italian project to be sent to the commission that selects the 12 European finalists.

Starting this year, Italian projects applying for Euro Connection will have an additional opportunity: thanks to the new initiative Road to Euro Connection/Italy, launched by the Italian Short Film Center, a shortlist of Italian projects submitted to the Euro Connection call will have the chance to present their projects at ShorTO Film Market. This initiative, dedicated to short films, is organised by the Italian Short Film Center and will take place on 26 and 27 November, as part of the Torino Film Industry.

This year, the selection committee that will select the Italian project finalist for Euro Connection and the shortlist of projects participating in the parallel Road to Euro Connection/Italy is composed of:
