Catalogue of the international program of art shorts – 2nd edition.

A festival made of “opportunities” and “signs”. And a festival which can line up Soldini and Nanni Moretti, Tati and Marker, Clouzot and Franju, a competition which honestly will see the very best of the year’s production, the one between the first and second editions of Filmbreve and the 2004-5 shorts “recognized” at international festivals and selected by one of the Clermont-Ferrand directors, and the “ mocking cartoons”, the original cut chosen by ASIFA for its overview on the state of the arts of animation; we feel this festival at least is in tune with what is happening in that “discontinued” world, in that “enigma” which is the short.
