The main activity of the Short Center is to promote the production of Italian shorts. Both in Italy and abroad, the actions undertaken by the Center are aimed at enhancing Italian shorts, organizing trade meetings and increasing the distribution of works, in particular at international festivals.

The promotional activity is largely enacted as follows:

  • Participation at major international markets
  • Curating programs of Italian short films for foreign bodies (i.e. festivals, film libraries, etc.)
  • Video Library of Italian short films , realized in collaboration with the Istituto Luce-Cinecittà, and aimed at professionals operating in the sector.
